Though this is not shown in the film, in real life, Anne Boleyn had written a final letter to Henry VIII before her execution. The letter was defiant in nature. In the letter, she was technically saying to her husband that she won't acknowledge anything bad that she hasn't done that resulted in this situation, including any bad thing that occurred during their marriage. She further stated that she has come to realize that their relationship and marriage wasn't truly built on love, and that she was just an infatuation to him.
