Despite having the same actors reprising their roles, the show is now non-canonical to the MCU narrative. Instead, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) is now supposedly getting her own Captain Carter project (a variant of Captain America), after it was teased in the pilot of the animated MCU show What If...? (2021)
