Big Hero 6 (2014) is only the second fully CGI film to be based on a comic strip. The first one was the Dreamworks Animation film La gang del bosco (2006), released eight years prior, and the third would be the 20th Century Fox animated film Snoopy & Friends - Il film dei Peanuts (2015), released a year later.
