Originally the premiere of Season 3 was going to focus on Savi and Joss being in a rift due to Savi witnessing Joss and Harry her ex-husband on the beach kissing. This would set up their rocky relationship for the season. However, once Alyssa Milano left the show at the end of season 2 due to production being moved to Vancouver the story line had to be dropped and Savi ends her relationship with Joss through email.
