The scene in which Rachel (Olivia Cooke) and Greg (Thomas Mann) sit in Rachel's bedroom, consisting of a continuous five minute shot, where Rachel reveals to Greg she has decided to stop treatment was not rehearsed. Cooke and Mann had to audition with the scene before landing their roles in the film, and therefore the scene was not rehearsed and was filmed only four times on the day.
