At one point Jason (Chris Eigeman) sarcastically states that he's a hologram. Eigeman played Arnold Rimmer in the first pilot of the ill-fated Red Dwarf (1992) (a version of the British sit-com Red Dwarf (1988)). The character of Rimmer is a hologram.
