Therizinosaurus is commonly depicted by fans as an outright psychopathic dinosaur who kills everything it sees. This is mainly due to the fact that Therizinosaurus is a rare herbivorous dinosaur in the film, being extremely aggressive, powerful, and outright scary. It also helps that the intended psychopathic dinosaur in advertisements, Giganotosaurus, is actually the least monstrous carnivorous dinosaur, leading fans to call Therizinosaurus the real prehistoric monster.
