In early April 2019, about two weeks before the premiere of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Kevin Feige confirmed that "Spider-Man: Far From Home" would take place after the events of that movie. This caused a little backlash from some fans, as this already spoiled the twist that Peter Parker would return in "Endgame", after his supposed death in Avengers: Infinity War (2018). It was also somewhat surprising, since most of the early promotional materials and the teaser trailer were purposely avoiding any hints about when Far From Home would took place, which could theoretically be before Avengers: Infinity War (2018). However, most fans had already correctly speculated that Far From Home would take place after Endgame from the moment this movie started shooting, and knew that Spider-Man would be brought back to life.
