During the end song "The Air That I Breathe" by The Hollies, one lyric goes "silent angel" the camera switches to Jia and when the lyric goes "Go to sleep" it cuts to Kong, symbolizing that he can rest and be peaceful now. Because there's nothing there to fight him he's at peace in Hollow Earth.
