After the premiere of the first season of the show in Germany the German magazine "Stern" interviewed the singer Markus Grimm, who was actually one of the descendants of the real Brothers Grimm. On the question of the adaptions of his family he said: "It is nice, that that the topic is always developed further and remains up-to-date." On the question, if it isn't strange to see a descendant of the Grimm brothers on TV who, he could be himself he said: "It isn't strange, I find it funny. And I don't have reserve.
