For 2 establishing shots (using the same clip) of Admiral Hanson's transport flying alongside Enterprise, recycled footage of the Excelsior-class model was recomposited with the Enterprise model. the clip had previously been used in Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Child (1988), for which it was utilised as the USS Repulse.
