RUNNING JOKE: The character Gene often makes a dirty double entendre (seemingly without realizing what he is saying because of his age) to which Bob (or sometimes Linda) responds "Gene don't say ________". Gene almost never acknowledges the rebuke. Example: Gene (on Halloween): We're gonna turn some tricks! Bob: Gene, don't say "turning tricks".
