Very little of composer James Horner's music is featured in the film as Malick ultimately went on to use various classical pieces by Mozart, Wagner, and others. Horner even wrote an original song with Glen Ballard known as "Listen to the Wind". It was going to be played over the end credits, but it was not used as well.
