Despite Elizabeth Montgomery hating being copied by Strega per amore (1965), since the 1990s, Vita da strega (1964) and Strega per amore (1965) ended up becoming sister sitcoms in syndication, meaning the shows are usually played together in syndication (i.e. They were both on Nickelodeon's Nick at Nite), and it seems this also occurred in the early '70s, when this series was originally released in syndication. The reason might be that both shows are now the property of Sony Pictures, and they're both basically the same show.
