After she cost the Steiners a loss to NWA World Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin), she said that the Steiners would meet their "doom." In September, she announced that she was not a manager or valet, she was "Woman," and kept that name and character for the rest of her career.
