Despite being a Cannon Films production (as were MIA 1&2) there seems to be a rights problem with this movie as unlike the first two films it is rarely shown on TV and hard to obtain on home media. Also there does not seem to have been a trilogy box set dvd or vhs set ever released. It is possible that when Cannon were declared bankrupt in 1990 this film the rights did not end up in the hands of MGM films (unlike the other two) and are either owned by another entity or the rights are in limbo.
