Numerous cast members of the original Argentine series Rebelde Way (2002) (including its four protagonists) were former Chiquititas (1995) young actors. The Brazilian version Rebelde (2011) had Carla Diaz from Chiquititas Brasil (1997). This new version has Giovanna Grigio, who starred in Chiquititas (2013).
