Jack Lord attended the 1987 Marine Corps Ball held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The FMFPac Commander, Lt. Gen. Dwayne Gray, introduced him and remarked he always wanted to say, "Book 'em, Danno!' Lord and the rest of the attendees had a good laugh.
