One of the independent filler sequences, repeatedly seemingly at random between features, is a bizarre montage of images, which lasts less than a minute, but tells a beguiling story, left open to much interpretation. During a frightful thunderstorm, Rocky and Bullwinkle fall off a cliff and perish, but are reborn as plant-based creatures and pop out of the ground next to a bunch of sunflowers. This sketch may be based on mythological stories from any one of several cultures around the world, including Celtic. These cultures tell stories of gods or other superbeings tied to agriculture, whose periodically repeated deaths and resurrections are symbiotic with the basic cycle of the seasons.
