The Engineer Docking Claw ship can be seen crashed in the mountains for a brief second when the Covenant crew leaves the planet. This might indicate that a struggle took place between the Docking Ship and David's Juggernaut, possible because the Engineers actually tried to defend themselves against David. Both ships eventually crashed, but on the opposite sides of the city, as we see that David's Juggernaut crashed into a forest, with no explanation is given in the movie about the circumstances.
