Legendary and Oscar-winning director Bob Fosse ( "All That Jazz", "Cabaret", "Lenny", "Star 80") was on the set with Alan Parker while shooting the complex and now iconic "dancing in the streets and on the tops of New York City taxicabs" musical sequence in the actual streets of Manhattan, and commiserated with Parker that evening over dinner about how difficult and exhausting it was to film.
