Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) agree that they won't try to have a baby until they find Barney (Neil Patrick Harris)'s doppelganger. They don't follow their agreement and start trying; however, they could not get pregnant until, they go see Dr. Stangel, who turns out to be Barney's doppelganger. Lily becomes pregnant only after the appointment.
