In the last half hour as shown in the U.S. - episode 3 in Britain - Hugh Bonneville's character urges his actress wife (Elizabeth McGovern to audition for a small role in a new drama Julian Fellowes has written about "a big house". Three years later McGovern was starring in a "big house" show written by Fellowes ("Downton Abbey" 2010). And Bonneville plays her husband, Lord Grantham.
