Tony Stark's Acura roadster is neither the 2012 NSX Concept show car, nor an actual prototype of the 2015 next-generation hybrid Acura NSX. It was custom-designed specifically for the movie by Honda North America chief designer Marek, Dave. The "donor car" was a 1991 NSX from Arizona, with 252,000 miles on its odometer. The interior of the movie car is almost totally stock, and still has the original cassette tape player in the console.
