Pradeep Kumar and Manoj Kumar had a very bad falling out after the film released. Pradeep stated he signed the film knowing he had a small and insignificant role. But Manoj Kumar kept telling him to leave the role and publicity to him. He would place Pradeep Kumar on all the film's posters along with the other lead actors. But the end result was different. Pradeep Kumar got a raw deal. Pradeep mentioned that during the shooting of the film,Dilip Kumar and Praveen Babi fell sick and reported for the shooting. Manoj Kumar immediately gave interviews praising their work ethic to the skies. What he failed to mention was that Pradeep Kumar had jaundice and reported to shoot for the film.
