The entrance used for the legendary Café de Paris is actually the Empire cinema in Haymarket, which is just a few hundred yards away from the real Café de Paris near Leicester Square. In December 2020, the club announced it was permanently closing down, after almost one hundred years, due to the impact of lockdown imposed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
