The character of Kara Zor-El, the most famous version of Supergirl, was featured in a comic prequel for L'uomo d'acciaio (2013) as part of the crew that brought a Kryptonian ship to Earth, which later becomes Clark's Fortress of Solitude. Kara disappeared after the crash and has yet to be seen again.
