Christopher Reeve attended a Special Olympics fund-raiser held at Arnold Schwarzenegger's house for the film's premiere in 1978. Reeve was offered (but turned down) two roles that went to Schwarzenegger: L'implacabile (1987) & Atto di forza (1990).
