This picture's source 'Stand on It' novel by Robert K. Ottum and William Neely was a fictional autobiography of fictional race driver Stroker Ace. The authors based the novel on real life events from their experience of the car racing sport. The book's full title was 'Stand on It: A Novel by Stroker Ace'. This filmed adaptation of this book is well known by two different titles which both together form the title of the novel: 'Stand on It' and 'Stroker Ace'.
