The two part episode "Once Upon a Time" actually has actress Joanne Linville portraying a Doctor who has invented a computer diagnostic machine that can determine from a single drop of blood many types of diseases that a patient may be afflicted with. I had always wondered after watching this episode if it inspired Theranos' creator Elisabeth Holmes who was convicted the day I wrote this to 12 years in prison for her fraudulent claims.
