Within the Space Jam timeline, this film is the second time that The Looney Tunes go out into the real world. In Space Jam (1996), only Bugs and Daffy went into the real world and it was very discreet because they didn't want to alarm anyone of their present existence. They were sent by Michael Jordan to retrieve his sneakers and gear from his house. Yet, Michael's children became aware of their presence, saved them from their dog, and promised not to tell anyone of their father's participation in the Tunes Squad game. In this film, after their second major basketball game was won by them and LeBron James, almost the entire Looney Tunes gang went into the real world on their own accord. This time, they were visiting LeBron and exploring the real world. Also, they weren't concerned about people seeing them presently which seems to work out in their favor. This is most likely due to how the second major Tunes Squad game became well known to people who were transported to Tune World in the WB Serververse and transported back into the real world once The Tunes and LeBron won.
