Was considered by critics to be Eddie Murphy's big comeback movie as most of his movies in the 90's up until this one had flopped at the box office. Many critics felt Murphy's career at the point may not have ever revived but this movie was such a huge hit critically and commercially and completely revived his career and he followed it up with a handful of box office hits.
