The character Griphook was played by Verne Troyer in Harry Potter e la pietra filosofale (2001). This makes him one of the few American cast members in the films, although his voice was dubbed by Warwick Davis. In this movie, Davis plays Griphook in body and voice. Davis also played Professor Filius Flitwick throughout the franchise.
