In the original animated film, Lady and the Tramp are seen at the end as having a litter of puppies - 3 girls and one boy. In this movie the scene between the puppies and "Uncle" Trusty at the end is actually had with 2 rescued pound puppies that Jock's human adopts, and Lady and the Tramp don't have puppies at all. This could be Disney's way of putting an emphasis on rescuing over breeding.
