Prop Master Kris Peck said that the prop that gave him and his team the hardest time during production was the goggles Tom Cruise wears during the Burj Khalifa climb and the sandstorm sequence. The goggles were custom made, a decision which took some time to get to, and had to be painstakingly modified over the course of multiple days by Peck to be lined perfectly to not allow even the slightest bit of sand to get in during the sandstorm chase.
