Tabula rasa (Latin)" blank slate" is a proponent of metaphysics, it's the opposing theory to innatism, which denotes that the human brain is created with certain inheraint knowledge like default knowledge or hard wired knowledge and tabula rasa is the theory that we are born with a blank slate and all knowledge is gain through perception via the senses.
