In season two, episode nine, "The Coat Hanger", Brooke Smith played Dr. Gardner; a psychiatrist whose patient is Bloody Face's son (Dylan McDermott). Bloody Face and seemingly his son, have a tendency to make home furnishings from the skin of women. Brooke Smith played Catherine Martin in Il silenzio degli innocenti (1991); a character who was kidnapped by Buffalo Bill, a villain who made home furnishings and clothes from the skin of women.
