In real life, David Tennant dated Sophia Myles, and later married Georgia Tennant. Madame de Pompadour died at the end of Doctor Who: The Girl in the Fireplace (2006), and at the end of Doctor Who: The Doctor's Daughter (2008), Jenny dies from a gunshot wound, but is revived.
