Director Gil Adler and Dennis Miller had several disagreements regarding work schedules. From an interview, Adler recalls, "Dennis would say to me stuff like, 'I know you're crazy because you work 12 or 13 hours a day, but I only work eight', and I would say to him, 'I'm not gonna use you up and fatigue you, but you're gonna work a full day, and a full day on a movie set is a 13-hour day', so we had a lot of back and forth about that, and that was a big issue."
