According to the concept art, the hemispherical compartment embedded into the Suva shrine is called the "Questing Oculus". The film's original teaser trailer ended with the Oculus dramatically opening, but in the movie its function isn't established and it doesn't appear in any other Bionicle-related media. In the film, Nokama appears to be reading instructions from it, even thought the Oculus is closed in this scene.
