Some of the characters' first names were changed in the French-dubbed version done by Sonysync in Paris: Darrin was changed to "Jean-Pierre," Larry Tate was named "Alfred" and Gladys Kravitz, "Charlotte." All of the others names, including the female cast, were unchanged, though the pronunciation of Tabatha's sounded like "TAH-bah-tah." This is due to a U.S.A. production error which later saw her original name misspelled as "Tabitha" which---once again---would have been pronounced "ta-BEE-tah" in French (and other Latin-based languages such as those spoken in Spain, Italy and Portugal), if it had been spelled with the "I" (aka "EE" in Latin) from the get-go.
