Weeks after the film's release, Jessica Chastain shared on her Instagram account a video of her in a kiddy pool pouring much of the fake blood onto herself. This was to make sure she would get used to the liquid formula, since gallons would end up being used. Chastain can be heard saying, "Oh my God, it's so disgusting!" on the video. She wrote in the caption of the video, "'Be an actress,' they said. 'It'll be glamorous,' they said."
