The LEGO Movie 2 had to be moved to 2019, due also to the two anticipated rival animation films of 2017, Cattivissimo me 3 (2017) and Cars 3 (2017), both of which are the third installment of their respective franchises, as well as an original film, Capitan Mutanda (2017).
