The dancers for the film were divided in to teams and rehearsed at both "Millennium Dance Studio/ Complex" and "Debbie Allen Dance Academy" two world renowned dance studios. This was done to keep the various dance crews separate and lend authenticity to their now legendary dance battles on screen.
