This marks the first time an Ulaga Nayagan (translated as "Universal Hero") title card sequence has appeared for a film not directed by K.S. Ravikumar. Ravikumar was responsible for giving Kamal Haasan the title of "Ulaga Nayagan owing to Haasan's box office successes in the overseas market starting with Thenali (2000). Previously, this title card sequence would only be exclusive for Haasan's films under KS. Ravikumar's direction. The title card sequence was last seen in Manmadhan Ambu (2010), but the english translation (following their Tamil and Telugu titles) would show up as "Universal Hero."This is also the first time, the "Ulaga Nayagan" translated in english has appeared for the Hindi and Telugu versions of the film.
