A mad scientist has Kong transported from his island home to a polar region in order to uncover a powerful radioactive material hidden underground, Kong gets airlifted by helicopters, saves a hovercraft from a giant snake monster, and at the end Kong smashes apart a giant mecha in a major Asian city, with a happy ending for him.
