Commisioner Barbara Gordon, played in the third season by Savannah Welch, is depicted as a woman on wheelchair without her right leg. This is not CGI: on November 2, 2016, she suffered in a traffic accident which caused severe injuries that led to the amputation of her right leg. In real-life she can walk using an artificial leg. Her accident gave her insight to play the part of Gordon.
