In June 2000, Wizard Magazine published writer Jeph Loeb and artist Tim Sale's casting choices for a film adaptation of their comic book "Batman: Dark Victory," the sequel to "Batman: The Long Halloween." One of their choices was John Turturro as Alberto Falcone, and Turturro ended up playing Alberto's father Carmine in this film.
