After the Toons win the game, Daffy as the coach runs around looking for someone to hug. This is reminiscent of Jimmy Valvano after his NC State Wolfpack wins the NCAA men's Championship in 1983. Daffy is also seen wearing a blazer and a red tie also worn by Jimmy V. The game was also won in a similar fashion with a short shot followed by a dunk.
