The later Director's Cut in theatrical release runs about 98 minutes which is about nine to ten minutes longer than the original U.S. theatrical cut. The the original four-part Italian television series, Il mondo di Yor (1983), runs about 200 minutes i.e. 4 x 50 minute episodes and this is rarely shown on late-night shows. The original U.S. theatrical release ran about 88 or 89 minutes. Home video releases on tape and disc usually run about the same time as this American cinema print though sometimes they are shorter.
